Anandan Dhanaraj is a seasoned software development professional currently serving as Vice President of Software Development at BNY Mellon. With over 13 years of industry experience, Anandan has established himself as an expert in designing and developing robust server-side applications, specializing in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. At BNY Mellon, Anandan has played a pivotal role in developing comprehensive data management solutions. He currently leads the Operational Data Store and Ingestion Layer components of Custody Data Services, where he has developed an authoritative datastore for custody data. His responsibilities include system architecture design, data engineering, project ownership, quality assurance, and process optimization. Previously, as a Specialist Developer at BNY Mellon, Anandan led the Cash Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI), Cash Management, and FX Status API projects from requirement analysis to production. These innovations provided clients with self-service tools to obtain SSI details and real-time access to critical cash account information.
