Dr. Bayo recently won the highly competitive Bill and Melinda Gates Global Grand Challenge for his work on the use Large language model for AI-enabled financial decision and advisory automation for low-income segment using Simone conversational interface in local languages. 5 of the products he led has also won the Top 100 AI products by the UNESCO/IRCAI AI product for sustainable development. He is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence/Data Science and has co-authored, published and presented many peer-reviewed academic papers at global AI conferences like NeuRIPS, ICLR, AAAI, CVPR etc. He is a hands-on Data scientist and founder of EqualyzAI, a start-up building AI solutions for emerging markets, leveraging hyperlocal datasets, nuanced models & innovative products. He graduated with Distinction from the University of Reading postgraduate school, United Kingdom, and has also had both full-time and executive education in many other leading institutions, including Columbia Business School New York, Chicago Booth School of Business, INSEAD Business School France, ETH Zurich, Switzerland; and University of Kentucky, USA. He has a PhD from the City, University of London.
