OpenAI just dropped two major updates, and they’re ones to get excited about!

First, Sora is now available in the EU, UK, and more. If you're in Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, or Iceland, you can now access Sora as a Plus, Pro, or Team user. That means more people get to explore its capabilities and see how AI-generated video evolves in real-time.

Alongside Sora’s expansion, OpenAI has introduced GPT-4.5, the most advanced version of its chatbot model yet. GPT‑4.5 is a step forward in scaling up pre-training and post-training. By scaling unsupervised learning, GPT‑4.5 improves its ability to recognize patterns, draw connections, and generate creative insights without reasoning.

Availability

Starting today, ChatGPT Pro users get access to GPT-4.5, with Plus and Team users following next week, and Enterprise and Edu users the week after. Developers can also experiment with it via OpenAI’s API.
