OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Go, a new subscription plan that offers expanded access to popular features at a lower monthly cost. The plan is currently available only in India, with plans to extend it to more regions in the future.

Features Included

ChatGPT Go includes everything in the Free plan, plus:

1. Extended access to GPT-5 – more usage of the flagship model.
2. Extended image generation – create more images.
3. Extended file uploads – work with additional documents, spreadsheets, and other files.
4. Extended data analysis – use Python and related tools for data tasks more frequently.
5. Longer memory – continue conversations with a larger context window.
6. Access to projects, tasks, and custom GPTs : organize work, track progress, and create custom GPTs.

Note: API usage is billed separately and not part of this plan.

India: ₹399/month

Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be canceled anytime.

How to Subscribe

1. Log into ChatGPT.

2. Click your profile icon → Upgrade Plan.

3. Select Try Go.

Usage Limits

ChatGPT Go offers higher usage limits compared to the Free plan. Limits may vary depending on system conditions to maintain a smooth experience for all users.

Subscription Management

You can manage your plan by:

Viewing invoices,

Managing billing details, and

Canceling your subscription anytime in Settings → Subscription.

Refunds and VAT/GST exemptions can be requested through OpenAI’s help center.

Privacy

Conversations may be used to improve model performance and safety. Users can opt out of data being used for training through the data controls settings.
