Cycloramic was an innovative app that enabled users to take hands-free 360-degree panoramic photos. It was created by Bruno François. The app utilized the iPhone's vibration motor to autonomously rotate the phone on a flat surface, capturing seamless panoramas without manual intervention. This patented technology worked best with iPhone with flat edges, while other devices could use a guided mode for manual operation. Additionally, Cycloramic featured post-processing capabilities, allowing users to convert panoramas into 24-second videos. It also stitches all shot together and come up with amazing output.

The app gained significant attention after appearing on Shark Tank in January 2014. Before the show, Cycloramic had approximately 660,000 downloads and generated around $175,000 in revenue. Following its appearance, the app experienced a surge in popularity, reaching the top spot on iTunes and generating an additional $1.5 million in sales.

Despite its initial success, Cycloramic's functionality became less effective with changes in iPhone design. François pivoted by adapting the technology into Car360, a platform specializing in 360-degree vehicle imaging. In 2018, Car360 was acquired by Carvana for $22 million.
