Manus is putting its AI agent where you already talk. Today, the company announced Manus Agents, a new way to access its personal AI directly inside messaging apps, starting with Telegram. The feature is available immediately to all users across every subscription tier.

The Pitch: No Setup, Just Chat

The idea of an AI agent in messaging isn't new, the company acknowledges. But in practice, most solutions require complex setup, ongoing maintenance, and unpredictable costs. Manus Agents is designed to remove that overhead entirely.

Open the Agents tab in your Manus workspace, scan a QR code, and link Telegram in about a minute. No command lines, no configuration files, no API tokens. Once connected, the full Manus—with reasoning, tools, and multi-step task execution—is available through chat.

What It Can Do

Manus Agents supports the core capabilities users expect from the platform:

· Full task execution from chat: Launch multi-step tasks—research, data processing, structured reports, PDF generation—directly from a message. Results delivered back in the conversation.

· Voice, images, and files: Send voice messages, photos, or documents. The agent transcribes, understands intent, generates edits or variations, and returns outputs without manual file handling.

· Customizable communication style: Users can specify whether they want concise, structured, or conversational responses, and the agent follows that preference across interactions.

· Model choice: Switch between Manus 1.6 Max for deeper reasoning and creative work, or Manus 1.6 Lite for faster everyday tasks. Both support end-to-end task completion with different speed and depth tradeoffs.

Real-World Examples

The company offers three illustrative use cases:

· Weekly meeting prep: Send a voice request to set up a recurring task that reviews email and summarizes upcoming meetings. The agent connects to email tools and delivers scheduled summaries in chat.

· Creative profile images: Share a photo and ask for profile picture variations. The agent generates multiple styled versions and returns them ready to review.

· Product content from a photo: Send a product image with a brief, and the agent produces a structured launch video mockup concept—scene ideas and visual directions—delivered through chat.

How to Start

Four steps: open the Agents tab, click Connect, scan the QR code or click the link to open the chat, and start messaging. That's it. No terminal, no config files, no server.

Manus frames the launch as the beginning of a broader shift: the agent should not live behind a login screen. It should be wherever you are, ready the moment you need it. More platforms are promised soon.
